Wisdom calling

1 My son, keep my words

and store up my commands within you.

2 Keep my commands and you will live;

guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.

3 Bind them on your fingers;

write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”

and to insight, “You are my relative.”

                                                            Proverbs 7:1-4

Enrapture your heart with me, daughter. I have given you wisdom, wisdom for the day in view and the days clouded by uncertainty. Look to your sisters, for they are equipped with the same wisdom. Learn from each other, each of you have a specific perspective, a unique vision. Write my commands down, secure them in your wisdom, in your vision, in your unique perspective. Your heart is made to be filled with wondrous things, don’t settle for comfort. Strive to learn your heart through me. Daughter!!! Your heart may feel weak, but in time you will see it as I do, a muscle of wisdom and great strength. Your heart is a weapon against death. It’s a weapon against despair. Your heart fuels your every movement, physically, mentally and spiritually. In the same way I fuel your every thought, your every step and every sense. I pump my wisdom through this strong and mighty muscle called your heart. It’s there daughter, don’t discourage yourself because you can’t lift off your ship of guilt and disappointment. For I have a greater strength welling up in you, it moves mountains, through me you have this strength.

Wisdom’s Call

1 Does not wisdom call out?

Does not understanding raise her voice?

2 At the highest point along the way,

where the paths meet, she takes her stand;

3 beside the gate leading into the city,

at the entrance, she cries aloud:

4 “To you, O people, I call out;

I raise my voice to all mankind.

5 You who are simple, gain prudence;

you who are foolish, set your hearts on it.

6 Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say;

I open my lips to speak what is right…”

                                                    Proverbs 8:1-6

Women of wisdom, your understanding has a voice, it has a presence. Don’t whisper the gift that flows through you, CRY OUT as the wisdom of the old testament cried out. Don’t sit back and let your sisters fall down because your voice was muffled. Speak life into their darkness. This wisdom I gave you is not weak, it is birthed within you, just as it was birthed into the world.

22“The Lord brought me [wisdom] forth as the first of his works,

before his deeds of old;

23 I was formed long ages ago,

at the very beginning, when the world came to be.

24 When there were no watery depths, I was given birth,

when there were no springs overflowing with water;

25 before the mountains were settled in place,

before the hills, I was given birth,

                                                                Proverbs 8:22-25

The wisdom you obtain started as a seed, growing in your spirit. It learned of counsel and sound judgement, it learned to grow in insight and power (prov. 8:14). This wisdom grew in trustworthiness, it became strengthened in knowledge and discretion (prov. 8:12). The wisdom you hold delights in the presence of the Lord (Prov. 8:30). It’s not done growing daughter! There’s more room in your spirit to expand to the farthest corners of confusion and doubt. Listen to the words welling up in your spirit. Don’t let them be pushed back. Walk daily in the light of wisdom, waiting at it’s doorway of blessing (Prov. 8:34).
