It’s cold, busy, and there’s too much yummy food during the Christmas season and sometimes it may seem impossible to keep up the momentum of your workouts you were consistent with prior to this season. Nevertheless, it doesn’t have to be a stress and you don’t have to worry about losing everything you worked so hard to achieve! You may not have time for a full blown workout but even doing a quick ten minute high intensity workout is better than doing nothing at all. Here’s a fun and festive workout to get you back on track or you can use this template to create your own!

The Twelve Days of Christmas Workout:

On the first day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
1- 30 second plank

On the second day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
2- Present Wrapping Pushups

On the third day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
3- Snowman Burpees

On the fourth day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
4- Superman Snow Angels

On the fifth day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
5- Snowflake Falling Toe Touches

On the sixth day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
6- Fireplace Tricep Dips

On the seventh day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
7- Gingerbread Jacks (Jumping Jacks)

On the eighth day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
8- Tinsel Twists (Russian Twists)

On the ninth day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
9- Santa Sumo Squats

On the tenth day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
10- Alternating Reindeer Lunges

On the eleventh day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
11- Snowy Mountain Climbers

On the twelfth day of Christmas my workout gave to me:
12- Lads-a-leaping Squat Jumps

Take it one day at a time, try it to the tune of the song, or try to time yourself to see how long it takes you to do all of them and then try to beat your time the next time you do it again! Most importantly…HAVE FUN! Working out doesn’t have to be an added stress to this season, let it be a time of relief as you stimulate your possibly stiff body and give a boost to that extra energy you need! Get your family involved and have a merry time working out in Christmas style!
