Mason jars can add so much to the décor of a room, whether in your kitchen, your vanity or your room. Mason jars can really add character to wherever they are placed.
Here’s a recipe for Lemon Meringue Pie that you can make in your mason jars!
Here’s what you need:
– Graham Crackers
– Ziploc Bag
– Sugar
– 4 tablespoons of Butter
– Mason Jar
– Jell-O Lemon Pie
– Pudding Mix
– Eggs
Here’s what you do:
1- Begin with one package of graham crackers, crushed, in a Ziploc bag with 1/3 cup sugar and 4 tbs. of softened butter.
2- After mixing it by hand, press into the bottom of the Mason jar and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
3- For the lemon pudding and meringue part, you’ll need Jell-O Lemon Pie and Pudding mix, eggs, and sugar. Follow the directions on the Jell-O box. (NOTE: Be sure to get the Cook and Serve variety. It will not work with no-bake instant pudding.)
4- Put the lemon pudding on top of the cooked graham cracker crust in your jar.
5- Then, to make the meringue, beat together 4 eggs and ½ cup of sugar.
6- Beat the mixture until form peaks. Layer this on top of the jars and cook at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn off oven. (TIP: To prevent glass from breaking, let jars cool before removing.)
7- Once cooled, refrigerate a few hours before serving.
